Julie previously worked part-time at Somerset Fitness Studio which moved successfully online during Covid for a couple of years but sadly, the business closed at the end of 2021. As a result, Julie decided to offer face-to-face sessions within the local community.
Julie has a passion for training and took up running in 2014 and has completed numerous 5K and 10k events as well as 3 half marathons and the Moonwalk in London which is 26.2 miles in support of cancer research.
She believes regular exercise not only keeps you physically fit but helps with mental health conditions. Her focus is providing training sessions for women that work the whole body to increase strength, tone and improve cardiovascular function.
Each session will be different but will be planned to ensure there is a good mix of Strength, Cardio, Endurance and Mobility training as well as bringing some fun to the sessions.
You will have the opportunity to workout using a variety of equipment and circuit styles including Boxing with Gloves, Pads and Bags 🥊
All abilities are welcome as Julie can adapt and modify exercises; not only where lower impact is required but where people are regular to exercise, providing guidance to progress their workout.
Most importantly, Julie wants to create an environment that is fun, friendly and supportive and not intimidating.
